Common Places Residency Program
Discover your calling. Grow as a leader. Live the mission.
The Common Places Residency is a two-year journey designed to help you explore your calling and gain real experience in ministry within the life of our church network.
During your residency, you’ll be immersed in the rhythms, relationships, and values that shape Common Places Church—learning what it means to follow Jesus in everyday life and to help others do the same.
Year One: Experience & Discernment
The first year is all about learning and experiencing. You’ll join our staff and church family in the normal flow of ministry—serving, observing, and growing. Together, we’ll help you discern how God has uniquely equipped and called you. At the end of the year, we’ll pause for an evaluation and prayerful reflection to determine next steps.
Year Two: Equipping & Sending
If God continues to affirm your calling, the second year focuses on equipping you to lead. You’ll receive mentoring and hands-on training tailored to your ministry focus—whether that’s church planting, college ministry, pastoral leadership, or international missions. The goal is to prepare you to be sent into the next season of your ministry journey with confidence and support.
Our residency is flexible and personalized, but the heart remains the same: to saturate you in the life and culture of Common Places Church while helping you grow into who God has made you to be.
